Dr. Sean Considine is a board eligible ophthalmologist who specializes in the inner structures of the eye, eye surgery, glaucoma, and retinal diseases.
Dr. Considine’s educational journey:
- Attended the University of Delaware on a full academic scholarship, graduated cum laude with a BA in Classics, and was part of the Medical Scholars Program.
- Completed Medical School at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2020. There he was a member of the Hobart Amory Hare Honor Society and President of the Ophthalmology Society.
- Completed his internship in Internal Medicine at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.
- Residency in Ophthalmology at Temple University Hospital in 2024.
Throughout his education, Dr. Considine’s research has been published in a number of peer-reviewed research journals. He even has published a book of poetry.
In addition to being an ophthalmologist, Dr. Considine also offers cosmetic procedures at Eye Consultants. His cosmetic procedure offerings range from Botox and fillers, to IPL photofacials, which reduce sunspots and signs of aging.
When not caring for patients at Eye Consultants, you would likely find Dr. Considine spending time with his family, golfing, or fly fishing on a local stream.
